Indian Beach Fun
Innocence Of Indians
There is this beautiful innocence behind Indians that makes my heart melt each and every time. Watching the Indians at the Calangute beach was such a joy. While most people are overwhelmed with how crowded it is and locals may avoid this beach… I just could not stop watching….
It is so beautiful to see Indians enjoying themselves in the most innocent ways. They just sit on the beach contently with no towel, playing with sand, throwing sand like kids, rolling in the sand, playing cricket/soccer/and all kinds of sports. The tourists walking around in the matching outfits and the 100 rupees white I love Goa tanktops. This was just the cutest thing ever especially the big belly, jolly Indians that I love so much. They just are happy with the simplest things, especially the sand.
People are reading thinking these are just normal beach activities….Indians do it way differently….they do it with joy and contentment wearing full clothing, no towel or expensive lounge chair, or $20 tanning lotion. They are so happy with the sunshine, the splash of water, getting wet with sand, and taking silly photos. The water excites them as Indians are not big swimmers therefore just going in half-way is thrilling for them.
They would engage in water sports, but always wearing their life jackets for safety. You see them on a small boat going out to not even the middle of the ocean like 10 feet deep and they are scared and so excited. Parasailing just above the water and jet ski for just a few minutes-taking risks, enjoying adventure, and conquering their fear. It is a time of bonding, a time to laugh, and time to take a break from their normally hardworking or busy lives. They hold hands and walk with their arms over one anothers shoulders, which is a daily activity for Indians to show their love, admiration, and respect.
India really is something special and that innocence is still there. Innocence meaning a vulnerability to be good, to be human, to be kind, and loving. It is like adults who did not forget it's ok to be a kid sometimes. Even with the madness of the world and the technology taking over our lives- Indians still have this beautiful ability to connect with one another on a human level not fixated on a phone, but on the feeling and the friendship. They are not focused on selfies or taking perfect photos or expensive chairs and big huge picnics with charcuterie boards and champagne-they mostly just enjoy each other’s company with a 50 rupee cup of fruit and some ice cream. It is a special occasion for many of them visiting the beach as they come from all over India. Everyone enjoys the beach right?
No one enjoys the beach like Indians do😊
I love You Always and Forever India....
